Supporting self-understanding to empower lasting change

I offer face-to-face, short- and long-term counselling and psychotherapy for individuals and couples who wish to explore their inner world and gain deeper insight into why they feel and behave the way they do. I believe that self-understanding provides the foundation for living more fully, courageously, and compassionately — with ourselves and others.

My background

Over the past two years, I’ve seen a notable rise in male clients seeking support for anxiety, often navigating cultural expectations that can make entering therapy feel difficult. This shift suggests a growing openness among men to seek help — a positive and encouraging trend I fully support.

I also have a special interest in the complex emotional transitions that occur when individuals become parents. The early months and years of parenthood often centre entirely on the infant’s needs, leaving new mothers and fathers feeling unseen or overwhelmed. This time of inner upheaval can challenge a person’s sense of identity, prompting rapid personal growth that can feel disorienting, even isolating. Therapy can provide a space to make sense of this transformation with self-compassion and clarity.

I receive referrals from private individuals, the NHS, medico-legal agencies, insurance providers, the Church Army, The Law Society via LawCare, Employee Assistance Programmes, and rehabilitation agencies.
